Daisies (1966)
A satirical, wild, irreverent story of teenage rebellion, Vera Chytilova's 'Daisies' is one of the Czech New Wave's standount moments. The women's anarchic antics are mirrored by the film's wildly free-associative montages, psychedelic color and effects and an overriding impression of gleeful anarchy. Few so-called art movies are this much fun.
